Our Story

Knife making is a passion that I take very seriously. I have always loved working with my hands, enjoy metallurgy and wood working, so what could be better. Shaping and heat treating the blade, sharpening, then applying woodworking skills to the handle all work in harmony to produce a quality tool which you will pass down to future generations.
After spending 21 years in the US Navy, retiring as a Senior Chief Petty Officer and Deep Sea Diver, I’m no stranger to hard work. Attention to detail remains my focus while creating a unique blade suited for your needs.
All materials for my knives are acquired in the USA. Some metals are purchased from steel manufactures, and others are from recycled metals, anything from car springs to saw mill blades used in the 1930’s. They all make fantastic custom knives that will remain in your collection for a lifetime. My scales and handles are only from the best exotic woods or hand crafted materials manufactured by me. Additionally, I obtain locally sourced wood for my handles, and when needed, each piece is stabilized prior to fixing to the blade.

I hope you enjoy using your new blades as much as I do creating them.
